Ann Schwader (annkschwader) | 160 comments Check & see whether your local public library has an e-book collection! Sometimes the e-collections seem to have more in the way of genre reading, or at least that's the case with my library in Colorado.

There is the Internet Archive, but it's legal status is somewhat disputed and controversial:

Anushmita Chakraborty Thank you for all your responses! I found out that Z-Library is good too. Do any of you know if it's legal or not?

You can download items as Documents in either PDF or ePUB formats. (You can use any free converting program if you need another format; just remember that Kindle now requires all Docs to be in ePUB format!)
Be sure to read the DMCA - at the top of the home page - to learn about the legalities. Although it's legal, authors who have issues with the site are encouraged to contact them about removals.
Honestly, I figure I've saved mucho $$$$$ by using this site! I was almost selfish & was gonna keep it to myself, but HA are such a great bunch that I couldn't resist posting it.
