I have not read the one from Kathi Daley, and I am not really sure it is an actual cozy.

I have not read this book but have read the first 5, don't remember any foul language, and there is humor injected into the stories.

However, I can highly recommend Steve Higgs; we had a good email conversation about my concerns if this would be okay for my teen grandson. He says he would recommend it to middle school and older children/adults! That is good enough for me! 😍
