Hello everyone! In this thread we'll be doing a buddy read of King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo. Here's the synopsis:

We don’t have to set a specific time, we can just state a starting and ending day and everyone reads at their own pace.
I think that’ll be easier than dealing with different timezones 😅

And yes, I read the shadow and bone trilogy at the beginning of last year and I’m currently finishing Crooked Kingdom! Have you read the Six of Crows duology?

Awesome, Actually it will be my first time reading something from Leigh Bardugo but i know the characters and some details (thanks to Goodreads, booktok and bookstagram). Did you enjoy reading them?

I really enjoyed the Six of Crows duology but no so much the Shadow and Bone trilogy
I mean it was fine but it got a bit repetitive and boring at times and I found the MC pretty annoying tbh 😅

But I heard a lot of people loved them so don’t let me deter you from reading them!
