((A city with a surviving, barricaded group.))

Felix walked along a road on a highway entering the city. He stopped once he walked past the first building and wiped sweat off his forehead, "god its hot" he said in a whimper and pulled out a bottle of water and drank some.

Jak looked through the last of his stuff. "Good. Everything hidden. Let's see what we find today." He said hooking his magnum to his belt and heading out of the building then stopped seeing a figure. He stayed quiet and approached slowly pulling his magnum out.

He put the bottle away and started walking again, since he knew he was in city it could be full of dead and people so kept himself quiet. He slow started getting into his jog and stopped at a building, "this'll do nicely" he said, he walked in and pulled out his revolver. completely unaware of the person following him.

Jak stayed close by, moving from shadow to shadow. He could tell by the way this person moved he wasn't dead. He got a bit closer before kicking a bottle and hiding around a corner. "Crap." He said under his breath. He peeked his around to see what the person was going to do

Felix was just walking into the building when quickly flipped around once he heard the noise and was pointing his gun out the door. He hid behind a small corner next to the door inside the building and saw someone or something peeking out of a corner, "shit, people already" he wondered. He didn't want to make much noise and didn't like his back to an unknown building possibly having zombies and maybe a hostile living person outside.

Jak looked around. He had lost track of that person. "Time to move." He said heading out and staying low in the shadow and stopping for a second. He looked around then picked up the bottle that he had kicked. He held on to it for a second then chucked hearing the glass break. "Stupid bottle. I almost had them." He said a bit loudly

He heard the person shouting and could tell he or she was farther away, he slowly came out of the building with his gun raised.

Jak turned around his head towards the ground. He kept walking then looked up and noticed the person a little bit away. He stayed still not sure what to do.

He turned around and saw the person standing there about a yard away. He quickly pointed his gun at the person and aimed, "you alive?" he asked loudly, "if you are stay back, I don't want any trouble" he told the person.

Jak took a step closer. "Ya." He said taking another step. He stopped and stared at him looking him over. "Friend or foe?" He thought to himself

"I said stay back" he told him and fired one shot near his feet as a warning shot. He knew it was loud and a bad idea, but didn't care in the moment. "Why are you following me? you think I'll be some easy kill or something?" he said

Jak shook his head no and backed up. "Just seeing what you were up to." He said holding his hands up showing he was unarmed. He didn't want trouble but if this turned ugly, he didn't want this guy knowing he had a gun

Kranos could see both of them from the church tower." Fucking idiots." HE said softly as he heard the frightened hushes from below him as there were about thirteen people that he had to look after and feed, they were running low on rations and soon he would have to go out of the city and go hunting. He had his sniper set up in a tripod on the sill looking out the way they wee the sun would make it nearly impossible for them to see him.

Felix was then starting to walk in a different direction than the guy was in, "well now that you know you can go" he said and started walking but stopped when heard more noise.

He turned his head and saw a few zombies running around the corner and stopped when they saw them both then started running towards them. "shiiiiit" he said and made a run for it.

"God dammit." He said counting his rounds. I have about 89 rounds, i can take out most of them and send the boys out to finish off the rest with the baseball bats. He thought as he took his first shot nailing the one closest to the Felix through the head, he smiled as it didn't make a sound thanks to his suppressor. He pulled his bolt back before sliding it forward and killed another.

He heard gun fire and saw it was hitting the zombies and not him, he didn't want to waste his ammo so he decided to let whoever it was do all the shooting. he ran towards a building and ran into it, kicking open the door after a few goods kicks and made his way farther into the building.

//he couldn't hear the gunfire because he's using a suppressor//

((oh okay. then he saw the zombies were dying and still ran into the building))

Kranos stopped firing letting the other man deal with the zombies. The new threat was the man that ran into the building. He didn't know if he was friend or foe. He kept his eyes trained on the building looking through its windows.

he continued running till he found a door leading to a stair well in the back, he went up the stairs and stopped on the third floor. He walked along the hallway, noticing this building was an abandoned hotel building, he stopped to catch his breath and peeked cautiously out the window to see what was going on.

((he's in a building across the street))

//ok, but felix's tricks won't work on kranos, he is battle hardened. just fyi//

Kranos had continued to look for the stranger that had entered the abandoned hotel. HE wanted to call out to him that it was infested with zombies, but if he had yelled her would compromise everyone in the church. He sighed, I won't put everyone's life on the line for one man. He thought looking along the windows until he caught the man looking out a window looking closely at the man.

Jak shot two of them, checking his ammo. He had plenty of it, but he knew he couldn't fight them all. He ran away seeing a tower in the distance. "Perfect." he thought running towards it.

Kranos's attention turned to the man heading towards the church. He aimed his sniper at his leg and took the shot grazing it. HE pulled the bolt back and slid it forward. He had five more shots in his mag.

He watched out the window till he saw they guy on the street running away so he pulled out his gun and turned out of the window to see a few zombies walking out of rooms, he stayed completely quiet and quickly ran into the room across the window and closed the door. He locked the door then barricaded it with everything he could find, two couches and a dresser and after he put the last furniture he could hear them scratched at the door. he paced the room thinking up a plan of escape or how could turn this place into a base and clear the zombies out.

Jak fell feeling his leg being grazed with a bullet. He had no idea where these bullets were coming from, but someone didn't want him heading that way. "This is not good." He said seeing some more zombies appear. He got up and kept moving hiding behind a corner.

Kranos looked around them before regretting what he was doing. He whistled down below and five guys ran out of the church with spiked baseball bats and protection gear. "Run to the church." On of them yelled knocking a zombie down and smashing its skull in. Kranos had gotten his medical kit out and slid down a rope leading down into the middle of the church, he had his rifle on his back looking out of a window looking at how the zombies were old ones so they were really slow.

Felix was finished with his pacing he pulled out his gun and checked his ammo, "more than enough" he said and walked over to room balcony on the back, since there weren't any out there he slowly lowered himself from balcony to balcony till he was on the ground and walked around the building. he turned the corner and hopped back behind the corner when he saw the guys with bats running around.

Jak saw the man hop to the ground. Jak whistled to him and pointed at the people. He held motioned to get low and hid in the shadow. "This isn't a fight we can win."

"Just get in the church, we aren't going to hurt you." The smallest of the men said as the zombies dispersed a bit.

Felix didn't trust him, he had been tricked by this kind of thing before. "and why should i trust you?" he asked from around the corner

" You can't, but with all the zombies around here that are heading here cause of that gun shot, you guys won't make it." He said as the five men walked back to the church.

Jak stayed low in the shadows moving slowly. He didn't want to be in this fight, but he knew that church was probably the safest place. He made a quick sprint for the church getting close and looking back for a second

"dammit dammit" he said to himself and turned the corner he ran for the church right behind the other guy.

Once everyone was in the church, they barred every door and window. Kranos had sat Jak down and was working on his leg. His rifle was leaning on the wall near Felix." I'm sorry, my protective instinct told me to kill you." He said to jak wrapping gaze around his leg.

Jak glared at him, staying silent. He didn't know who these people were and they were very close to his supplies. "Who are you people?" he asked looking around. "I've never seen you people before and I've been here for a while."

Felix looked around the church a bit then started to wander off into the church to check it out.

"They are people who have been run out of other establishments because they weren't liked. Here in this church, everyone is viewed here by how much they work and who does what." He said as a couple people cam from an underground cellar.

Jak looked at the people. He was never a fan of a crowd cause that usually left to people dying. He shook his head but stayed quiet. "Thanks. But I need to get my stuff. My place is going to be filled with zombies now, and that stuff is priceless right now." He got up and headed toward the door

He tossed him his bag as he walked over to grab his rifle and noticed felix walking around looking around." What are you doing?" He asked glaring not trusting him.

he stopped and turned around, "I'm just looking around" he answered with a shrug. "should i not be?" he asked

"No, but i'm not sure if your keeping your hands to yourself." He said making sure he couldn't take anything.

"I wouldn't do that" he replied with a wave of his hand. "I wouldn't be able to get out carrying stuff" he told him, "I'm just walking around"

Jak watched the two. They seemed way too calm for what has been happening. He was always on edge even in the calmest of times but these guys. They seemed to act like they everything was fine. "You guys seem calm for all this." He said, sitting down and looking at the equipment around. He could use some of this later.

Felix shrugged, "well you know, if you live in certain life long enough you just get... use to it" he told him.

"I have to stay calm, for all of them." He said pointing at the family's and people sitting down holding their loved ones. He had five men watch felix as three watched jak." No hard feelings." He said grabbing his rope and climbing up it to the top of the tower.
