The only thing that went through my mind was wondering what sort of evidence they had against Sean. As far as anything off or unusual in the arrest, I thought both Detective Banner and Detective Mendez were hostile towards Sean (especially Mendez). I never did figure out why.
The first thought that came to mind was they’d deliberately waited until Lucy had gone. No way should they have done this without her being there. It felt so off and Detective Mendez was out of line throughout the story. To make him get on the ground and kneel without any provocation was just wrong. They wanted to humiliate him and they did.
I thought he should have kept driving. He was going to go down and help Jack search for Kane, he should have kept going to the airport. Maybe if he had they wouldn't have been able to plant the gun and bloody rag on the plane.I agree with you, the interaction between Sean and the HPD officers was just so wrong. We never did find out what to deal was with Mendez and Banner wasn't much better.
I believe Mendez thought he was a cheater and paid prostitutes for sex. This woman was burned in the past, you just know it. Arresting Sean was personal.
