When did you begin to suspect that someone other than the Hunts were orchestrating Sean’s fate? Was Paxton or Colton on your list of possibilities? If not, who was?

When Hunt tells Elise that she Lucy is off limits. I couldn't figure out why he would not want Lucy taken care of.

My first thought was it was Jesse's grandfather bankrolling the whole thing. But that didn't quite fit with Lucy being hands off. Six pages later I figured out that it was Paxton.

I came to the conclusion when Sean wasn’t killed by Hunt in the transport. But, I had no idea who it was. Paxton never crossed my mind. I was trying to think of what cartel leader still alive that could orchestrate this.

I knew that someone else was calling the shots when Jimmy Hunt told Elise that he had promised Lucy's safety. Like Anita, my first thought was Jesse's grandfather wanting to make sure that Sean was out of the picture for a possible custody battle.

I didn't think of Colton at all. When he popped into the story near the end of the book, I started wondering if Paxton was behind all of this.
