I was able to compile the below list via a google search for "authors on postage stamps". I don't in any way think all were found, and you may benefit from your own search.These authors are pre-approved:

I'm considering this book: Gigi and The Cat.It looks to me like Gigi was published in 1944 and The Cat (La Chatte) in 1933.

This task should be for the author or his literary works. These are depictions of his designs, so they won't work.
