I was able to compile the below list via a google search for "authors on postage stamps". I don't in any way think all were found, and you may benefit from your own search. These authors are pre-approved:

See also (many may not be on the above list): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...
Sooo... I'm being difficult (what else is new...)Magda Szubanski

Yes, she's a comedian but she's also written some children's books so she counts as "author on postage stamps", right?
Also: https://www.theguardian.com/books/201...Peter Carey (already on pre-approved list)
David Malouf
Colleen McCullough
Bryce Courtenay
Thomas Keneally
Tim Winton
A few Canadian authors that have been on stamps:Margaret Atwood
Morley Callaghan
Leonard Cohen
Anne Hebert
Margaret Laurence
Stephen Leacock
W. O. Mitchell
Lucy Maud Montgomery
Susanna Moodie
Gabrielle Roy
There may be others, of course, but these are the ones I recognized on wikipedia's list of people on Canadian stamps.

EDIT: No, she wasn't. I thought I saw her when I was compiling the list. Happy to have added all of these.

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colette

This task should be for the author or his literary works. These are depictions of his designs, so they won't work.
Dave Grohl https://www.hipstamp.com/listing/curt... (the site is a little weird...you have to scroll down a bit to get there: he's the one on the bottom left of the four-stamp set).
