Hi all!
We have voted for Bohumil Hrabal's novella Too Loud a Solitude for our category of books that can be read in one sitting.
As "many of Hrabal's characters are portrayed as "wise fools" - simpletons with occasional or inadvertent profound thoughts - who are also given to coarse humour, lewdness, and a determination to survive and enjoy oneself despite harsh circumstances", we can look forward to an enjoyable read that at the same time probably provides food for thought.
