I nominate Dinosaurs: How they lived and evolved. It's the best natural history of dinos for adults. I reviewed the 1st edition ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ). Also, this group needs more dino love ;) Seriously, the last time a dino book won was March 2019 ( https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... ).

This book does not seem to be widely available. I couldn't find it on Amazon or Barnes & Noble or BetterWorldBooks, or at my public library.

scientificamerican Dot com/store/ebooks/the-science-of-birds/ It may be that it isn't widely distributed. That would be a shame as it is a book of very readable science papers and not pop science.

The author's woke agenda spoiled so much of the book for me. It would be really interesting to have a discussion about this book. I would like to hear other people's opinions on it.

I was going to nominate Breathless by David Quammen but I see that we are not supposed to nominate brand-new releases so I'll wait - but I plan to read it as soon as it's released in two weeks
