Between Words discussion

What did everyone think of this trilogy? Is it over-hyped or does it make the cut?

definitely over-hyped. I hated it. I wanted it so desperately to be a good paranormal horror book, but it was just another teen romance in disguise.

I've read the first book, and it was pretty good. I mean, it was your typical teen romance with a bit of paranormal thrown in, but it wasn't that bad. I'm waiting for the time where I can actually test out the second book.

They weren't the best series of books, but overall I generally liked them. Mostly because the narrator is unreliable and as a psych major it was interesting for me to try to figure her out.

Starting the series, I felt like it was just another typical teen paranormal romance, but I absolutely adored the second book (in my opinion, it's the best in the series!). I just really liked how Mara was questionably more powerful and how Noah also had his own demons.

Thinking of buying the entire series...is it worth it?
