"Welcome to Art in room 203, I'm your Art teacher Mateo Rivers, you will. Address me as Mr. Rivers." Mateo wrote all that he said in the corner of the chalkboard, setting down the chalk. "There will be no funny business or usage of powers in my class. You will all use your talent, not powers. To determine if you are good enough to be in my class. Now, is everyone ready?" Mateo smiled and leaned on his desk.
Mateo looked over at her and sighed. "Everyone draw or something. No usage of powers. I'll be back." Mateo sat a students drawing book down and walked out the class. "Come on."
Mateo walked back in to see everyone talking and using their powers while throwing things around. "QUIET!" Mateo didn't like to raise his voice but sometimes people got on his last nerve. He walked to his desk. "Clean this up please, with your hands. Not powers and get back to your drawings." "Why don't you clean it with your powers then if we can't." A female student stated.
"None. Of your business. Now." Mateo went up to the chalk board and wrote "Qui hoc destinat, classe manere et mundare debebit." In Latin. "This class makes me want to murder people." Mateo whispered to himself, sitting at his desk and starting to draw.
Bloom raised her hand, "What does that mean?" she asked, she was the quietest student in that class.
"It's Latin. Decipher it." Mateo didn't care if he hadn't answered her question directly, he was just determined to get this class over and lay down in his bed.
(Forgot what it said, it was along the lines of deciphering and cleaning.)"You tell me." Mateo went back to his drawing, trying to ignore Bloom.
Bloom scoffed and was messing with her powers as she was drawing. She was really one for art and getting distracted by her flames.
"Bloom. Out!" Mateo sighed, and got up. "Do something until I get back." Mateo left the room and stood by the door, closing it.
Mac walked into the classroom, immediately headed to the back where projects were stored.
Londyn trailed behind her and looked around. She was mesmorized by all the amazing and fascinating art around her.
Mac searched through the piles of art until she found her peice. "Here's one of mine..." She laid it on the counter. The drawing was made of charcoal and it depicted a skull, surrounded by dark roses. The medium made the drawing look hazy.
Londyn's jaw dropped. "This looks amazing!" She loved the way it looked and how Mac used the media to add texture.
"Oh... thanks... but I feel like I could have done better... y'know?" Mac sighed, looking down at the paper.
Mac laughed it off. "Yeah, thanks..." She blushed, putting the drawing back in its place.
"Well... hold on..." Mac shifted to another shelf stacked with artwork. From there, she found a different art peice, a tough sketch of a hyper-realistic eye.
Londyn saw it and gasped. "That looks so awesome! It's so realistic. I love it!" She grinned and admired the picture.
Mac laughed. "Thanks. I'm actually really proud of it... It took me days to make."
((Ahhh sorry for the late response! I've been reading the book series that inspired the group lol))Londyn's grinned widened. "You should be proud. It looks so good." She continued to look at it and admired all the different medium and other aspects of it.
Nah its fine, I get it.))
Mac laughed again, "thanks..." She looked at the ground, trying to hide her blush, she didn't do well with compliments.
Mac laughed again, "thanks..." She looked at the ground, trying to hide her blush, she didn't do well with compliments.
Oof- sorry))
"What?" Mac asked, her attention suddenly turning to the wonderful laughed Londyn made.
"What?" Mac asked, her attention suddenly turning to the wonderful laughed Londyn made.
"What?" Mac asked again, more alarmed this time.
"Your laugh is gorgeous..." Mac mumbled, looking down at some of the artwork she had strewn across the counter.
"Yeah... No problem..." Her voice faded as she said it. "So... uh... what now?" It was unlike Mac to have no idea what to do...
"I don't think I'd mind that..." Mac admitted.
Mac smiled and started walking, pushing her hair back and out of her face as she glanced at Londyn from the corner of her eye.
"So..." Mac asked awkwardly. "What do you do for fun?"
