BOOK NERDS OCTOBER MURDER MYSTERY CHALLENGE



Goal: Complete as many prompts as possible.

Rules:
1. No Cheating. Only log books you've fully completed in October
2. Have Fun! This challenge isn't meant to "taunt" your reading in any way, but to rather add to the fun!

Instructions: You are officially invited to Book Nerd's Halloween Gala! Costumes required. But wait! It seems that one of our mods has gone missing! Join us for our spooky, not so scary, October challenge that through various tasks you can uncover the missing mod!

0-99 pages: 0.5 points
100-199 pages: 1 point
200-299 pages: 2 points
300-399 pages: 3 points
400-499 pages: 4 points
500-599 pages: 5 points
600-699 pages: 6 points

Chapter 1: Arrival and AWOL

You enter the grand Book Nerd's estate. Decked out to be a living Pinterest board: deep shades of orange, purple and black dance together to create a stunning yet mysterious interior design. As you walk into the main room, you see all your Book Nerd friends in elaborate costumes mingling together. As you approach the mods, you notice Scooodles is missing. You gather a team together to go search for her.

You must read a book that fits one of the prompts, then your teammate will read another that fits another prompt, etc.

I'm confused. Prompt 2 was already completed by your team (Jenny on October 5} Only one book is needed to mark off the prompt. So your team would have 21 points, not 27

You all gather around a table and discuss the evidence. It's a well known fact that Scooodles is a Hufflepuff, could this be her bookmark? Why would it in the garden? Your team takes the bookmark and decides to talk to the other mods.
