Lincoln Parish residents 📢 October 27 you can get free in-person assistance with a legal issues at Lincoln Parish Library in partnership with LSBA Louisiana Lawyers in Libraries from 2 - 4 PM with Attorney Gwanda Lamb. Email krichard@mylpl.org to schedule a 15 minute time slot. Get answers to questions related to civil lawsuits, housing/evictions, Medicaid, public benefits, wills and successions, and much more! (Note: this clinic does not handle criminal matters.) Patrons can also take advantage of Ask-a-Lawyer Phone Consultations occurring Oct. 24-29, 2022! 📞 These events occur by phone for patrons who have a legal question but cannot make it the nearest library that's hosting in-person events. The Lincoln Parish Library and the Louisiana Center for the Blind will partner to bring local author Olaulu Ogunyemi to the library for a special Braille Storytime. Ogunyemi will be joined by a Braille reader from the LCB and will be passing out free copies of his books Horace the Horsefly and Crow From the Shadow for blind and sighted children.
October 18, 2022 @6pm Teens will make Star Wars Magnets. Come hang out with Kris, Teens Coordinator, to make DIY magnets.
