This was a topic idea I had literally five seconds ago lol.

Basically, is science always right? Or even right the majority of the time? Also, is there more than one valid way to interpret evidence? Is the study of science always perfect? And while were at it...what is science???

Not always, scientific discoveries are made by people and everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

I think we should define science. What is it in your opinion?

Science is facts, evidence and reality so no science can’t be wrong but scientists can be.

Is there a difference between science and the consensus from the people that practice it? In other words is there a difference between science an scientists?

@abby that’s a really good take! I think there is a difference between science and scientists—until Copernicus, people thought the Sun and planets orbited the earth; that the earth was the center of the universe. This was never proven science, but mistakes by scientists and beliefs about how the universe was, caused this belief. The science was waiting there the whole time, but it took new scientists to find it.

The systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained.

A study, made by people, who make mistakes.
