Lizzie leaned back in her seat as she set her glass of Absinthe on the table in front of her. She kept her eyes peeled, watching to make sure no one tried to slip something in her drink. She sighed softly, glancing at the faces of those around her. "Everyone looks so tough in here.. Maybe this is a gang bar?" she thought to herself. She hadn't really been to The Last Round before.
Nine was sitting in a booth in the back of the bar with a small glass of Bourbon Whiskey taking sips of it. He glanced around the bar and noticed a girl that hadn't been there before. With a grin he stood up and made his way over to her with his glass. Taking a seat beside her he smiles at her warmly and holds out his hand. "Nine Rodriguez, and you are?" He asked her with a warm smile and inviting eyes.
Lizzie jumped slightly as she heard a voice next to her. She nervously took his hand and said, "Lizzie.. I'm Lizzie. It's nice to meet you, Nines." She picked up her drink and kept it closer to her. "Are you a regular here?" she asked.
Nines picked up his cup and swished around the liquid. "You could say that." He said in a cool tone. He took a few more sips then placed the cup on the bar waiting for it to be refilled. "So what brings you here tonight, Lizzie." He said while dragging out her name.
She took a sip of her drink and set it down in front of her. "Well, I guess I'm just trying to decide which bar I like the most. I turned twenty-one a couple weeks ago, so I'm trying to decide where will be my go-to place," she told him.
"Oh thats nice. How is it so far then?" Nine asks the girl once a bartender comes by and refills his Bourbon Whiskey. He picks up the glass and takes a couple of sips. "It's a pretty calming atmosphere." He mentions then sits the glass down again. He then turns his head and rests and elbow on the table so he could direct his attention towards Lizzie. He then overhears another woman in the bar and turns his head a little to glance at her. "Nice to meet you, Katherine." He says warmly.
Lizzie nodded at Katherine and smiled a little. "It's nice to meet you," she said. She glanced around the bar again and said, "I may come back here. It is kind of pleasant, and the music is decent enough."
Lizzie raised an eyebrow at one of her comments and took a long sip of her Absinthe. She bit her lip a little, starting to feel the effects the drink caused. "Well damn, if I'd known the drink was going to be this strong, I would have gotten a smaller glass!" She chuckled a little.
Nine raises an eyebrow at the girl and smirk makes it's way to his lips. "You must not know who I am." He says then takes a couple swigs from his cup. He then looks back at the girl he was sitting next to and smiles. "You're not much of a drinker?" He asked her thinking she couldn't hold her alcohol as well as himself.
She shook her head lightly and said, "I drink Absinthe a lot, but this one is a lot stronger than the other ones I've had." She took a smaller sip and chuckled again. "Things are going to get funny though. Absinthe is one hell of a hallucinogenic for some people."
Nine simply nods in approval as he finally found out what she was drinking. He was much into hallucinogens but he gave the girl her props. After finishing off her fifth glass he placed the glass back down and told the bartender her was finished. After paying for he drinks he also ga e the bartender a twenty dollar tip. He then turn in his seat and looked over the girl. "So Ms. Dark and Mysterious, what are your plans for the night?" He asks the girl thinking he could have a snack after so much alcohol intake.
She rubbed her eyes a little since they were starting to get smaller from the effects. She took a deep breath and said, "I might just wait until this wears off and go home. One glass of this stuff is all I'll ever need for a good night."
And there goes my snack. Nine thinks to himself but puts on a smile. "Yeah you'd definitely be safety if there were two of you." He said warmly even though he knew he could easily take on them both but he wasn't really into unwilling feeding. "So I'll see you two beautiful ladies again?" He asked with a raised brow and a half smirk.
Lizzie looked at Katherine like she was crazy. "Vampires, eh? Okay, whatever you say." She chuckled again, the effects getting stronger. Vampires.. nonsense, she thought to herself.
Lizzie laughed more, getting up from her seat. "I think that's enough vampire talk for me. Anyway, I appreciate your offer to walk me home, but I will be just fine on my own. Have a goodnight you both. I'll definitely stop by another time." She paid for her drink and gingerly skipped out of the bar, still feeling funny from the drink.
"So I guess it's just you and me Ms. Pierce." Nine says as he turns fully around to face the woman. "Would you mind accompanying me?" He asked as he patted the seat beside him and order something a little strong than the Bourbon Whiskey he previously had.
((Lol I meant like looks wise. Nine looks older than Damon seeing as Damon is stuck at some age. I forgot what age? It's like 20-something I think))
"Well seeing as I was turned in '96, that would make me about 36 in vampire years and 24 in human years. I haven't lived as long as you darling." Nine said with a dazzling smile as he took a sip of the drink that the bartender brought him. "And don't worry about me trying anything, I only take what I'm given." He says with a bit of of smirk and a hidden undertone in his statement.
Nine listens to the woman speak about her past as he downs the rest of his alcohol and asks for a refill. Once the bartender comes and refills his glass he smiles up at him and nods then turns back to Katherine and listens to the rest of her story. When she finishes he tries to process everything she says then he smiles and looks at her. "Seems like your life was very..." He says then pauses to look for the right words. "...eventful." He finishes his statement with the only word he could think of at the time.
While drinking his drink, Nine listened to the rest of her story. He couldn't believe half of the things she was telling him but the strangest thing to him was the fact that she was telling him all this information about herself. Getting over the fact that he was pretty thirsty for something a little different, he realized that for a human she has been through a whole lot and being a couple douche right now would not help in the least. "So...you're very found of this Elijah, yes?" He asked to reassure himself. If she was taken he was going to make a move even though he wouldn't keep her long anyway. He had been seen many times in the bar with many different women. His charming smile and great personality would reel them in but he had only one use for the little humans he picked up. Blood bags. Blood bags are what he calls the women he picks up from bars because he only uses them once then sets them free. His longest was an Australia women with blonde hair. They had been together for three days and he fed on her all three days. He was pretty shocked that she never became unconscious due to the large amounts of blood she was missing but he left her on the third day because he was in the mood for something else. Nine was used to using his charm to catch his prey so it only came natural to him to be charming even if he didn't see Katherine as potential prey.
"You say that if he dies all the vampires he turned would also die but that wouldn't matte right, seeing as you are now human." Nine said while finishing off his drink and placing it down on the bar along with some money to pay for it. "These are just my calculations from what you've said. It wouldn't affect you, right?" He asked unsure of this sire thing or the so called 'Elijah'.
Nine listen to her explanation and chuckled at the last part. "This Damon guy seems kind of...loose?" He said but wasn't to such if his word was a good enough word. He had heard enough about this woman's life and he needed to feed so he decided it was about time to leave. He turned to the woman and smiled then held out his hand. "It was a pleasure meet you Ms. Petrova. Be careful on your way out. A beautiful woman such as yourself would be quite the catch for a young vampire." He says with a playful smile then gets up to leave. He heads toward the door of the bar and turns before walking out. He gives Katherine a slight wave then exits the bar. A scowl soon forms on his mouth and he rolls his eyes. "God that woman can talk." He groans out followed by a sigh. He had never met someone so talkative before. Or someone who felt the need to tell him everything about themselves.
((I have a Malkavian to use, you might want to read her description first though before I use her xD))
"..This place is.. Crude.." Says a figure with a long dark Trenchcoat whom just entered the bar.He Scans the area with his eyes, they flash red for but a moment, and he blinks, shaking his head rapidly for a second, he goes to the bar, and simply requests: "The strongest you know you have." to no one in particular, thinking a barkeep would hear him regardless, He sits on one of the bar stools, staring into a bottle with a penetrating stare..
((Since Vampire Diaries is being talked of, this guy looks VERY SIMILIAR if not almost exactly like Elijah, although i doubt he himself will be familiar with the name..))

"..Hm?"The figure looked over toward the stranger, giving a quiet nod. "You could say that.. though i cannot privy myself to divulge why, it is personal."
He raised an eyebrow of curiousity and faint familiarity, the resemblance was absurd.. uncanny..He then peered at you searchingly.
"Vam.. Pires..?" He seemed to have a tone of uncertainty.
Of course.. you're human, and he's probably a vampire himself, he'll likely assume you arn't aware of them as existing.
"..Did you.. er.. have much to drink recently?" He asked awkwardly, briefly looking to the alchohols strewn about the shelves, seemingly ignoring the remark about lookaliking.
"...."His tone soon became serious, his expression clearly observant now.
"If you know of us, because you were once one of us.."
The barkeep came by with the drink he ordered earlier, he simply gave a nod and informed him he'll pay before he leaves, returning his attention to the stranger beside him.
He just sits there silently for a brief moment..."Legend implies something of notoriety, i have heard nothing of you beforehand.. if you are legend, you must be unknown amidst this place."
".......Hunted for Mistakes long-since past and understood, the thousand ways that could end are comprehensible to destiny alone, and any whom vizier from it, i've only made one mistake of note as far as i wish to say.. And needless to say, it was my last mistake as a mortal i ever made again."
"You call me lucky? It is you whom is lucky, bearing a form i have been seeking for so long.. mortality."He then sighs, clearly disputed in his opinion.
"Perhaps we both have something the other wants.. you bear humanity, i bear a lack of fame."
"...It is up to subjective interpretation, what weakness and what strength truly is to one individual and another." He says after a brief moment.
"An eye for an eye only makes everyone blind, why did you do these things to begin with? What could you possibly have gained? Because frankly, selflessness tends to catch you much more in the long run.."
"As i've said, i've endured odds that could cause most others to quiver in hesitation, to be blunt and braggart-ive about it, if he challenges me, i will be ready..""But.. if what you say is true, i will.. avoid killing him." He added, staring at her probingly.
"..You've told me much about your own past.. i suppose i owe you that.""Alright.. i've.. it's.. just.. i've been torn apart by something i never thought existed when i became this being, i was a prince to a kingdom human history likely will never recall.. but it felt so.. hemming, so snaring, so binding.." he paused briefly.
