As far as I can tell, Dalinar was holding an honorblade taken from Talanel. So why did he heard screams after bonding with stormfather ?

Are honorblades dead?

They can't be dead or alive. And near the end Kaladin was able to hold honorblade without hearing screams.

It is not the same blade that Taln appeared with. If you read the description at the end of Way of Kings, it is described as shaped like a spike or something like that. The blade that Dalinar touches is described as shaped like a cleaver. Check it out on Coppermind.net. It will explain that Taln's blade is missing and the one Dalinar picked up was not it.
