Page pushed herself up against a wall. The shadows hide her well. Before she darted across the subway platform, she tucked her gold locket into her shirt. She glanced back and forth, then ducked into the crowd.

She looked around and saw a large, curvaceous woman walking along in a large, satin dress. It was a sickly green and Page shuddered at the thought of wearing it. The woman was carelessly swinging her purse at her side so Page sidled up next to her.

"Hello." She said, as friendly as she could.

"Hullo!" The woman stopped walking.

Page cursed in her head.

"What are you doing out here all alone?" The woman went on.

"Going to an after-school activity." Page replied, practiced.

"Oh! And what brings you over to me?" The woman glanced at her suspiciously.

"I loved your dress and had to know where you got it!" Page had to choke down her gag reflex.

"Oh! I'll show you!" The woman began walking and Page practically jumped up and down.

Page was lead through crowds of aristocrats all dressed in their evening finery. She snagged a bracelet as she passed a young couple who where kissing intently and a five dollar bill from a young girl not paying attention to her bag.

"Here we are!" The woman sang. Page jumped and looked around. She gulped. Oh, no!
