In the epilogue, we learn that Jack is still alive and tracking Evan. Is he friend or foe? Did you see that coming?

I didn't expect that and don't know what to think.

I didn't expect that either. I'm hopeful that he is a friend. Especially since Van Sciver implied that Jack died protecting Evan.

This threw me back on my heels! Never saw it coming and had to rewind the audiobook and listen again.

I think he’s friend and he “died” to protect Evan.

This revelation thru me for a loop. I hope Evan never learns of this it will be devastating. and the new boy he is training? I can't wait till learn more about Jack and why he did this.

I was shocked. Talk about an unexpected twist. I have to believe that Jack is Evan's friend. I don't know how Evan will react if Jack betrayed him.
