Welcome to the Sock Hop!
Duration: November 1 - 30, 2022


Sock hops were held as early as the 1940s to raise money for war relief efforts, but the dances grew in popularity and became known as a type of informal school dance throughout the 1950s. These dances were called "sock hops" because the kids were encouraged to remove their shoes so they wouldn't scratch the school gymnasium floor.

Rules:
* All books must be read within the challenge time frame
* No page limit
* Re-reads are allowed
* You can change your books and level at any time

Levels of Difficulty:
No show socks: 1 book
Ankle socks: 2 to 4 books
Crew socks: 5 to 7 books
Knee highs: 8 to 10 books
Thigh highs: 11+ books
