Tracy gets “lost” after the op is cancelled and she ends up in the hands of the serial killer holding Beth. However, she makes some pretty smart moves to save herself and Beth until help arrives. Did any of her actions change your impressions of her in any way? Why or why not?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I did change my opinion of Tracy. She was a lot smarter in this situation than I would have given her credit for.

Robin (robinmy) | 2454 comments The way Tracy dealt with the situation made me see her differently. She was very smart about how she handled the killer while she was caring for Beth. Also trying to get Beth to help her break out. She definitely impressed me.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Tracey really shines here. Her true intelligence, and ability to stay calm and think on her feet emerge. She also stopped thinking only about herself and revealed her empathy for others as well. Perhaps she would make a better agent than receptionist.

I had my aha moment about Tracy here. She’s lived her life relying on her looks to get her anything she wants and actually believes that’s all she’s got, who she is. But when her life was on the line, she used her brain, surprising even herself. Yes, my opinion of her changed. I feel a bit sorry for her knowing that her lack of confidence, feeling like she’s got to settle for somebody like Lyle, is based on how the world relates to her. No one expects her to be smart and even she believes she isn’t.
