A historical murder mystery.
The horse is in a livery stable and we see that horses are very much part of the economy and lifestyle.

I'm told by M.J. Evans that this book about horses in WW2, featuring the U.S. Coast Guard's mounted beach patrol, has won an award. Well done, and all the more reason to gift a horsey book or read it for a challenge. I had not even heard of the mounted patrol, and it shows horses were relevant in many ways. Thanks for the information!

This is an interesting Irish fairytale told in the Irish language. As you can see, the King was born with a pair of horse's ears.

This is a modern Irish story about a boy who rediscovers his family's traditional roots with horses.

M.J. Evans tells us about
