Would this book fill the requirements of set in Egypt?"
I haven't read it, so I don't know. I'm going to add to the task that it has to be set at least 50% in Egypt, but, again, I have no idea how much of this book is actually set there.

Am I allowed to Use Chasing Aphrodite: The Hunt for Looted Antiquities at the World's Richest Museum by Jason Felch for this task? It is really about Employees of the Getty Museum and a fair number of other assorted ancient art collectors bought antiquities from people who had stolen them and sold them to the museum. What I think makes it legitimate is that some of the people involved in these thefts are people who are accredited archaeologists one of the criteria mentioned in the task description. But if being set in Egypt is also necessary, then it won't work. The way I originally read the task was that you needed one of the three things specified in the task It is a good book though, I'm glad I read it.Andy

this sounds like it will work, since it's about archaeology and archaeologists.

Hi, Would The Kingdoms of Savannah by George Dawes Green work for a book with an archeologist and archeology? One of the central characters is a contract archeologist and the central mystery concerns an archeological find.
Thank you,
Helen

the description and reviews of the book don't sound as if a main character is an archeologist or that the book is about archeology. If you read it and find that it does fit one of these criteria, please explain that when you post.

Is a Forensic Archaeologist acceptable? That is how the MC in The Chalk Pit is described in the precis of the first book of the series (The Crossing Places). Thanks.

In 1922, the tomb of Tutankhamun was found by Howard Carter. Read a book set at least 50% in Egypt, a book about archaeology, or a book featuring an archaeologist. REQUIRED: Specify in your post how your book fits the task.
