MUDWINGS

Mudwings can come in a variety of colors, but are generally swamp-colored. This means anywhere from brown to green to orange and in rare cases... black! Mudwings can have many accent colors, and this usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Mudwing named Dragonfly, they could have blue, yellow, orange, red, or any other color you might find on a dragonfly. Mudwings are also genetically deposed to be large and heavily muscled. An ideal Mudwing is broad-chested, thickly muscled, and small flightless wings, with a sloping back and thick tail. They can have an eye color of any kind, but usually have dark brown or amber eyes.

SANDWINGS

Sandwings can come in a variety of colors, but are generally desert-colored. This means anywhere from sandy-yellow to white and in rare cases... gold! Sandwings can have many accent colors as well, and this usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Sandwing named Cactus could have green or pink on their wings and horns! Sandwings are also genetically deposed to be large but wiry and lean. An ideal Sandwing is tall, lean-muscled, and has large, leather wings, with an arched and long tail. All Sandwings have tails that end in a stinger, but some may be able to rattle or shoot their venom. Most Sandwings have black eyes with no white showing, and a cheetah-like line from the corner of the eye to the nosrils, as well as long eyelashes.

SKYWINGS

Skywings can come in a variety of colors, but are often sky-themed and are always feathered. This means anywhere from red to blue to yellow and in rare cases... white! Skywings can have many accent colors, and this usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Skywing named Kestrel, which means they could have black or brown markings. Skywings are also genetically deposed to be very tall and wiry. An ideal Skywing is narrow, very long, and has very huge wings, with a straight back and long tail. They can have an eye color of any kind, but usually have yellow or blue eyes.

SEAWINGS

Seawings can come in a very vast variety of colors and have no limits to what they can be. This means anywhere from purple to blue to yellow and in some cases... red! Seawings coloration usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Seawing named Clownfish, which means they would be orange and white. Seawings are also genetically deposed to be short and thick. An ideal Seawing is short, covered in blubber, and has very small, flightless wings, with a rounded back and long paddle-like tail. Sometimes, Seawings can have shark-like tails and fins instead of legs. Seawings are also covered in bioluminescent scales, and have fish-like gills and lungs.. They can have an eye color of any kind, but usually have green or purple eyes.

🌊 Seawings have very strong nightvision and can survive in even the strongest of water pressure.

ICEWINGS

Icewings can come in a variety of colors. This means anywhere from blue to white to silver and in rare cases... brown! Icewings coloration usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Icewing named Reindeer, which means they would be brown and silver. Icewings are also genetically deposed to be tall and thin. An ideal Icewing is tall, covered in fur, and has very sharp, long and thin wings, with a straight back and long wolf tail. Sometimes, Icewings can have hooves or feathered wings. Icewings are also covered in fur and have elk-like horns. They can have an eye color of any kind, but usually have black or very dark blue eyes.

RAINWINGS

Rainwings can come in any color under the sun! Rainwings coloration, however, usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Rainwing named Dart Frog, which means they could be a bright yellow with black splotches. Rainwings are also genetically deposed to be thin and coiled. An ideal Rainwing is short, able to change colors, and has a very long tail that's curled at the end, with a curved back and small, round wings. Sometimes, Rainwings can have venomous stingers in their elbows. Rainwings are able to spit a black acid from their snake-like fangs. They can have an eye color of any kind, but it usually contrasts their default colors.

🌈 Rainwings can change colors to match their surroundings (this includes horns, claws, teeth, etc) and also change with their emotions. (See Rainwing Information)
🌈 Rainwings bask in sunlight to "recharge" which has been said to make them happier, brighter and smarter.
🌈 Rainwings spit corrosive black acid from two retractable fangs in their mouths. In some cases, they can also inject this venom through stingers in their elbows. Rainwings are completely immune to their own venom, and the acid from a relative can counteract this venom. (See Rainwing Information)

NIGHTWINGS

Nightwings are often darkly colored or night-themed. This means they can be black, blue, purple and in rare cases... silver! Nightwings coloration, however, usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Nightwing named Constellation, which means they could be a dark blue with silver scales. Nightwings are also genetically deposed to be large and muscular. An ideal Nightwing is tall and large, strong, and has big wings with star-like scales, with a sloped and long thick tail. They can have an eye color of any kind, but it is usually green or black.

⭐ In some rare cases Nightwings can have powers. There are two kinds:mind reading, and prophecy. If a Nightwing is born under a single full moon, they will either be able to read minds of see the future. If a Nightwing is born under two moons, they will have both. If a Nightwing is born under three moons, they gain the ability to project their thoughts to any dragon, as well as see the future in perfect clarity. (See Nightwing Information)

HIVEWINGS

Hivewings can come in many colors, but are usually insect-themed! This means anywhere from green to red to yellow, and in some cases.. blue! Hivewings coloration, however, usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Hivewing named Stinkbug, which means they could be a dark black with an oil sheen. Hivewings are also genetically deposed to be freakishly thin and angular. An ideal Hivewing is tall, thinner than what seems possible, and has a short, wasp-like tail that ends in a stinger, with a forward-facing chest spike and two segmented wings. Sometimes, Hivewings can have venomous stingers in their wrists and claws, or fangs capable of injecting a paraliyzing toxin. In some rare cases, they can even spray a liquid said to smell like rotting things pickled in sulfur. All Hivewings have large, insect eyes that are all black and lack pupils.

SILKWINGS

Silkwings can come in any color under the sun! Silkwings coloration, however, usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Silkwing named Monarch, which means they could be a warm orange with black stripes. Silkwings are also genetically deposed to be round. An ideal Silkwing is short, brightly colored, and has two large butterfly-like wings, with a large chest and long fluffy antennae. They can have an eye color of any kind. Silkwings are always covered in thick, silky fur. They have a large round moth-like butt instead of a tail, that can spin silk.

🦋 Silkwings can spin silk from glands in their abdomen and wrists. In some very rare cases, they can be "flamesilks" which lets them spin different kinds of flamesilk. (Gold, Firefly, Glow, Blaze and Sun)
🦋 Silkwings have an internal clock, which guides them on the seasons and time of day.
🦋 Silkwings use their antennae to sense vibrations in the air. This lets them sense moving objects or incoming weather.
🦋 SIlkwings cannot spin silk and do not have wings when they are born, and instead they go through Metamorphosis at the age of 6.

LEAFWINGS

Leafwings can come in a variety of colors, but are tree colored. This means anywhere from green to brown to black and in rare cases... white! Leafwings can have many accent colors, and this usually reflects what they're named after. An example could be a Leafwing named Birch, they could have white and black stripes with big orange wings. Leafwings are also genetically deposed to be long and heavily muscled. An ideal Leafwing is tall, lean muscled, with large leaf-shaped wings, and an arched and prehensile tail. They can have an eye color of any kind, but usually have gold or amber eyes.

🍃 Certain Leafwings can have a special ability known as Leafspeak. In some Leafwings this power is extremely strong. Leafspeak allows the dragon to communicate with plants, and even help them grow far faster and larger than they might on their own.
🍃 Leafwings have powerful back legs and can leap up to four times their body length.
🍃 Leafwings are autotrophs, and can gain some energy from the sun.
🍃 Leafwings have somewhat good nightvision.
