The last communication Hannah gets from Owen is a note. Thinking about that, what do you think is lost without the spoken word and body language? Would a voicemail conveyed the same meaning as say a text or the note?

The accidental caps actually makes a good point. There are ways we can let people know how we feel when we are texting. I personally love a phone call, because the sound of someone's voice is important to me.

Were you satisfied with Hannah's choice at the end to turn to the gangster gramps to keep the daughter safe? I think it was the only solution. Better to be aware of each others boundaries, the threats are known as opposed to wondering when or where the 'bullet' may hit.

I agree. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer kind of thing. I also keep thinking, there was no way I could have made my daughter completely reinvent herself at that age. Becoming who you are meant to be is such a fragile thing, and to stop and change directions so suddenly would feel almost devastating. This way Bailey can flourish, and wasn't it always about the daughter?
