I'm going to be honest, but I cried at the end, the fact that she was suffering with dissociative trauma and she had to relive it made me sad, and how they found Monday and her sibling in a meat freezer. It also makes me sad that this book isnt far off from reality, 52% of domestic violence cases go unreported and hundreds of thousands of people die, just like monday.😖

This book made me sob. I had my theories about Monday, "maybe she ran away, maybe her mom sent her away" but nothing could have prepared me for that freezer aspect. This story was so sad and I agree, the reality made it much more chilling.
I was in shock. I felt manipulated and lied to. Jk. I loved it so I was so confused about the ending though but like It will always be one of my favorite books!!
!!SPOILER WARNING!!
This book is amazing! I had read some reviews about it before starting reading it and I knew it probably would have something to do with child abuse and her mother. I just didn't expect the ending honestly. I was sobbing in my bed reading it. Still a very good book though.

i never would have expected that ending and it was just an amazing amazing book that i wish i could read for the first time again and feel all the emotions that came with reading it.
I cried so hard. I finished it in the morning and had to work after. I wanted to call out so bad. This book has been on my mind since then.
