Hello! What would I like to see? Hmmm...I guess I wouldn't like to see one-lined responses, but I'd just like to see a group where everyone can have fun ^^

Well, I prefer fantasy, but realistic is usually more relatable for some people, and it might be a nice change of pace for those who are already in a fantasy-themed high school rp.

True. there's a lot of fantasy rp high school theme rps out there. And to me they're super fun. But the realistic ones are lame and dead. I hope this group will stay active!

So it sounds like you guys want to go with more of a fantasy element :) Could we do something with a weak fantasy element, sort of like the best of both worlds? Cause when I look at rp groups, I have to admit the ones with these huge backstories and different races and stuff just confuse me lol.

Oh, I hope we stay active too lol. I'm thinking of making it a requirement for all mods to post at least once a day (unless they're on vacation or something) ;)

No problem :) Um, I was thinking the best of both worlds would be kinda like: okay, everyone's a human, and they all can have one power that the creator can decide. And the powers wouldn't be anything too crazy, but enough to add that sort of fantasy element. Kinda like how most of the x-men are just normal people with some cool aspect. Do you think that might work?

Oh yeah, like mutants? That's good. But we might need to limit some powers so they won't be god-like. I hate those. :/

Yeah, for sure! I'm thinking we could have something basic as the baseline, and then measure any powers against that. Cause otherwise it would get hard setting solid rules about how powerful a power can be.

Okay, I'm assuming this will be like a actually high school. not some boarding school for mutants. There's so many rps of that! We need something to stand out for sure, tho.

Mhm, something more normal. Kk, what if the thing that makes it stand out is that only some of the students are mutants? So they're surrounded by normal people and the school is completely normal, but most of the people in the rp aren't?

um, sure... I think I get what you're getting at. Maybe the characters have to hide their powers because its mostly humans that go here? And its post Brother hood (I'm a HUGE x men fangirl as you see.) So humans don't accept the mutants with open, loving arms?

Yup, that's what I was thinking :) Haha, although it probably won't be in the X men world, that's a good way to think of it! So they have to hide their abilities because something happened that made everyone hate mutants

Yes, Maybe an evil mutant killed most of the government and became a dictator. A EVIL dictator. And He Keeps the humans and mutants away from each other. Yet they are kept away from each other, both are very very poor. Since all of this, humans hate mutants.

That came from the top of my head. There's probably flaws in it but its's something!

Ooh, I kinda like that! But it happened a while ago, so no one quite remembers it happening, all they know is that they hate the mutants :) So there's a program to hunt down mutants, and anyone who's a mutant has to keep it under wraps!

Yeah, and at the school there's a program that all mutants must attend. And the program is basically trying to drain the powers from the mutants.

Mhm, but only known mutants have to attend :) Which is why they want to stay under the radar. Kk Amber, would you be willing to make a character that would teach that program? Oh, and do you want to be a mod?

Um sure, but I'm usually on during the afternoons; after school. And sure, but I'll need some help making the teacher. Should the teacher could be a closeted mutant? Or..?

Oh, that's fine! Um, your choice :) It would be kinda cool if they were, just cause then they'd be like this huge hypocrite. And they'd probably be the main villain, so it's your choice if you want to rp that or not. If not, I'll try to leave it for someone else :)

hmm, I'll probably make it tomorrow, its about 9:30 pm here. And I have school tomorrow. :(. But we can still talk till 10

Sounds good! Ugh, school :( I actually don't have to start until like nine tomorrow :) Oh, so anyway, I was thinking the rest of the folders could just be: the campus, a mall (for students to hang out after school or outside of school), and then maybe dorm rooms. Does that sound good?

Yeah, Personally, I like to have a diverse places. Like one rp group I'm in has like "Forest,Woods, Beach,Lake." Like really? C'mon! lol

Hahaha, that sounds like a lot of nature ;) Um, the beach might be a good idea tho. It is LA after all :)

Yeah, but I think we should also be creative with the settings. If we have a beach, I don't think we need a lake. It's kinda the same thing to me. Plus its another folder we can use for something else.

Um, I was thinking there should be some teachers for just the normal classes. Like math, science, etc. And then a principal, of course :)

Yeah, plus we can always grow from there and edit the small things.

What about clubs? Would you want clubs? If so, what kind? And that counts sports too!

Ooh, good question! Um, I think clubs would only work with more people, but I definitely want to have them! :) So maybe we could have a thread where people sign up for sports, and once there are enough students in a sport we start having them meet every once in a while?

Yup yup, I think starting small is probably best :) And then we can grow as we need to.

Okay, how can we get more people to join? I was thinking on how to get people to notice this group.

Haha, I honestly have no clue :$ I think if we told everyone to ask their friends to join, we might get a few more members :) And then I was thinking about going on other rp's that were dying and advertising there, but I'm not sure about that...

Hey everyone. What I would like to see of this group, first is not seeing it die. The second thing I would love to see is a Winter Formal. Some of you may call this a snow ball dance or sweethearts or Winterfest or Queen of Hearts Dance. This is a dance held at high school which takes place between the prom and homecoming. Typically between December and March. My school already had theirs this year, but I did not go because I was busy. Good night everyone. I have to go now, but Talk to all of you in the morning possibly.

Hey everyone! I don't have much to say in terms of what I want for the group. It seems that everyone here is doing great. Honestly, I just want it to stay active, and I want to see good quality posts. One-liners are no fun to role-play with. Anywho, I'm excited to see how this group turns out!

Kaya, Ooh, I love the idea of a Winter Formal! I'm not sure we have enough people yet, though... Kk, how about we set a goal to reach twenty members and characters, and once we do we'll have a Winter Formal to celebrate?

Jasmine, welcome to the group! I totally agree that staying active is the number one goal :) For mods, the rule is going to be at least one roleplaying style post per day (except for vacations). That way, hopefully there will be someone roleplaying even on the slowest days.
