Clean YA Book Club discussion

Time to nominate books for our February BOTM. This thread is specific to 13+ yo. Our theme is a book with a heart on the cover or in the title; it could be broken or whole.

Ooh, theres so many options! Well i was debating btwn When Calls the Heart and My Heart Belongs in the Blue Ridge: Laurel's Dream, but i think ill nominate the 2nd one, My Heart Belongs... bc its been on my tbr for longer :)

I'd like to recommend Drama by Raina Telgemeir. it's been a while since I've read it and I don't really remember the age it's suitable for so just to be safe, I'm putting it in the 13+ coloumn

I'll nominate Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West. This one has been on my TBR for a while!

Heartless by Marissa Meyer. It’s suitable for a 13 year old.

That book was really awesome. Marissa does a great job of creating a universe for her characters.

My heart and other black holes by Jasmine Warga.
I read it when I was 14, so I don't remember exactly what was in it.
It does center around depression/suicide and other mental health issues.
I tried to find the criteria for the books and was unable to find it, but is am pretty sure that it is okay.

I didn't even know When Calls the Heart was a book. I look forward to reading it as I love the show.
