Hello Team Thimble...Checking in and saying hello to everyone while I'm currently awake. I'm down with covid right now, I hope I will be feeling better by the time the challenge starts.
I had covid when it started no ill feeling but lost my smell and taste...to this day my senses haven't come back 100%
Hey everyone! Oh no Michelle hope you feel better soon. I'm going out of town this weekend but should have my computer at night and I'll have my phone with me to check in.
Hi everyone and Happy New Year. I'm starting to feel a bit better. Now if I could get rid of the chest congestion and headache I would be a lot happier. Our first roll should be today sometime. We have to go in a certain order. Team Cannon gets to go first.
I reread the rules a couple times and I hope I have comprehended everything correctly. I'll admit I'm a bit nervous.

Good to hear that you are feeling better. Two things that I swear by for congestions are chicken soup and turmeric-pepper milk. Not at the same time, though 😜 But seriously, as somebody who has allergic rhinitis, these are must-haves for me. The chicken soup keeps me warm and the saltiness is sometimes the only thing I can taste while congested. Turmeric-pepper milk helps get rid of congestions like nothing else I have ever tried and it is very simple to make. Just boil milk (I do half milk and half water as I am not very fond of thick milk) with some turmeric and a few peppercorns or pepper powder, add honey to taste, and drink. This is a very effective expectorant.
Happy New Year! I've also reread the rules a couple of times, and the posts in the Q&A section. We can ask there if we need to.
I may be wrong but I think we won't get to roll today. I know we're next in line but Team Cannon needs to finish their book for the property they bought first.
So I guess in the meantime we just read what we want and those books can either be banked or we may use one in our roll... I don't know if anyone had a different strategy?

I love chicken soup. I just wish I could really taste things. I made an eggdrop soup, but no taste even with soy sauce. Its getting a little better each day. I have no appetite really. I'm not sure I could do the tumeric milk. I don't really like milk. Would tumeric in a tea be good?
I'm still trying to understand all the rules, but I agree that all we can really do right now is just to read what we want and hope it works for our roll. It looks like Team Cannon finished their book, but they're having technical issues.

Ok..That's what I thought. I was confused at first on whether we had to wait for them to complete there task.

Yes, absolutely. Boil the turmeric and pepper in water and use it to make your tea. Tastes good and makes the world of a difference. You can also add ginger and cinnamon to round out the goodness, healthwise and tastewise.
