What Things Annoy You In Life?!! Just for Fun!
Reality TV, small dogs that are allowed to run loose in the neighborhood, rap music, people that wear their pants around their knees, people that talk too loud on their cell phone in public
Drivers who pull out in front of me, making me climb all over my brakes, then going one block and turning. It's especially annoying when there's not a car in sight behind me.Pre-recorded telephone solicitations.
The lack of common courtesy toward others.
Sean, it's funny you say that. ATT's automated service said "thank you for letting us serve you", and then hung up on me twice because their system could not route my call. Sheez :-/
Kirsten wrote: "Reality TV, small dogs that are allowed to run loose in the neighborhood, rap music, people that wear their pants around their knees, people that talk too loud on their cell phone in public"yes, yes, yes!
Plus people who do not have basic manners (or can't be bothered using them).
People who stick their chewing gum under their seats/tables/plates or drop it on the street...How hard is it to wrap in a tissue?
Litterers

I don't drive so I don't notice bad drivers that much anymore. I walk my dog everyday so that's why I notice small dogs that run unsupervised.Talking about automatic telephone systems, the one I hate is the voice activated ones. I always end up screaming at them "Agent! Agent! Agent!" to get to a REAL person.
We live in a neighborhood with long driveways and I am always scared of backing over one or lord forbid, one of my kids hitting one. Lol. American Air is like that. People look at me screaming at my phone in traffic. Good one!
I get it when calling my ISP or my cell phone company. One of the few times I fantasize about violence.
"Your call is important to us. Please hold until next Monday."On-hold music that is 101 strings play Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, and the Rolling Stones.

Sean, this thread is genius and comic relief. Thank you!
Multiple dogs in neighbors' yards---and we hear them barking and barking and barking. We think we're the only family in Southern California with no dog!
Yes Lorrea, than does annoy me.
Here we sat indicators !!
Just turn, idiot drivers !!
Nice to get this off my chest.... LOL
Dog owners who don't pick up there mess !!

Barbers, waiters and waitresses, cab drivers, courier delivery people...all those in those kind of services who call me : Friend, buddy, bro, love, ducky, mate, fella, and such.
No. I am none of those.
Don't make me out to be your casual acquaintance.
I am not, I have no intention.
Address me as Sir. I am the paying customer. It is about me. Not you.
I feel differently about that Ty, but I'm speaking from the other side of the counter in a different work environment. Many of my customers tried to call me "Doc" or "Mr. Freas." I told them my name was "Dave" because we were working together to improve/maintain/restore their health.

I used to get irritated because my manager's manager always called me "sweetie". But then someone told me he had trouble with names so he just called all the women "sweetie" and all the men "buddy".

i can understand that and when i am with my customers i urge them to use my first name.

in today's world that would be grounds for harassment, wouldn't it?
oh,and all those barbers and cab drivers who want to discuss the ball game with me, or make conversation.no thanks.
when i want to talk, i will. till then, pls give me silence and quiet.
I'm the opposite. I like to be friendly with anyone and everyone and because I am I get a better service!! :-)
Standing in line at the store with a few items and the woman in front of you has yet to unload her stuff onto belt because she is to busy yapping on her cell phone. That happens alot.

Oh, it would've considered that back then, too. But I hear he just couldn't remember names.
Ty wrote: "oh,and all those barbers and cab drivers who want to discuss the ball game with me, or make conversation.no thanks.

Or dentists that want to have a conversation with you despite the fact that they have their hands in your mouth.
Dana wrote: "Standing in line at the store with a few items and the woman in front of you has yet to unload her stuff onto belt because she is to busy yapping on her cell phone. That happens alot."Or people that will not stop talking on their cell phone when actually checking out. It is SO rude.
Once when I was out to dinner with my mom, at another table I saw a woman having a long (and loud) conversation on her cell phone. It seemed so rude to have a lengthy cell phone conversation when you have a dinner companion (and she did!)
Aaron(Reblast) wrote: "When I sleep all day it annoys me, even though it's out of my control. It sucks!"One of the things that really used to annoy me when I worked was waking up before my alarm went off. I always felt cheated. Even if I woke up 1 minute before, I still felt cheated.
In my neighborhood it's not just the little dogs that run around (it's either chihuahuas or the tiny raggedy matted-up poodle creature) but the inevitable pit bull! I used to walk my dogs every day, but over the last year I've had to start loading them into the car and driving them to a secluded location in order to get a good walk in. Also, I've been in customer service for 35 years, in the last decade there has been a trend of the customer approaching with a rude chip on their shoulder. It may be a response to bad customer service, but coming at me with intimidation tactics only creates a vicious circle. It's hard to teach the young folks to be more courteous (in this industry) when the grown folks are being an ass.

Still, most larger dogs are not as annoying as the small ones. And most larger dogs are actually monitored and either chained or fenced in. Unfortunately, owners of small dogs let their dogs run free. Running across busy streets, charging my dogs, etc.
E. wrote: "In my neighborhood it's not just the little dogs that run around (it's either chihuahuas or the tiny raggedy matted-up poodle creature) but the inevitable pit bull! I used to walk my dogs every da..."If dogs are running around unleashed or without owner call animal control. A pit bull can harm someone. If your saying that its annoying for the owner to walk the dog around while your walking yours is...its their right as well but it is their job to be responsible and and being able to control their animals on the leash. I work in the animal field and raggedy matted up creatures is just insulting way to put it. Im one of those annoying people with a chihuaha but however she is well behaved and loves people and does get excited to see other dogs on our walk. but dogs will be dogs. And the only pet peeve i have is when they walk their animals and dont have a poop bag. Or walk by my window with their dog to get mine all riled up.
AMEN, Dana!As to matted creatures, I used to think that was just laziness. But after watching Animal Cops, I realize it is horribly cruel.
It is also a reason I will never get a wire-haired breed. Way too much work!
No, these are loose dogs, wandering around. I'm leash walking my dogs and a pack of 2,3 or 4 come charging at us barking and causing havoc. And yes, the pits are wandering around also. I have called animal control a couple of times but have yet to see a change. I just take my dogs elsewhere.

I know. They dont understand when getting that breed work comes with it. It needs grooming. Letting hair grow in their eyes is terrible and causes infections in the eyes and leads to blindness. I tried to tell my aunt but she said I dont want to hurt him her shitzu by brushng him.Ughhh..

I never understood reasoning on taking them all out together. its a perfect set up for disaster.

Now, everytime I see some poor guy walking two dogs with two leashes, I have to tell them he needs to get a coupler!
Unfortunately, we lost one of the sisters last year (coming up on one year now) so I don't need to use it anymore.
Janet wrote: "I'm the opposite. I like to be friendly with anyone and everyone and because I am I get a better service!! :-)"Absolutely. I'm with you, Janet. Better service, better day, better life. Grumpy doesn't hack it! NC &:) San Diego, CA
Funny how the same things annoy most people, but the creators of those voice menus and the owners of the uncontrolled dogs aren't going to pay much attention. We now need a thread of things that randomly delight us!
The one second left on the microwave. I always turn it off with one second left. I do not want to hear the beep.
Make that cleaning up any puke, Brenda. *Thinking back to the kids when they were younger, urgh*
Janet wrote: "Lol! Someone find Autumn a microwave that doesn't beep!!"Hahaha, please! My sister does the same thing!
I know this sounds really weird, but I can't stand it when there's one biscuit left in the tin. Why not just eat that one too!?
Press 1 for English. Cars merging onto the freeway, and not yielding right of way to the drivers ALREADY on the freeway. Scissors that don't cut. Timers that only go up to 60 minutes. Teens wearing pants ready to fall down. And on the opposite end: WHAT I LOVE? appliances that work. Just the right tool for the job. People who smile. Having my email inbox down to a few messages and all are answered. Having a check to cash. NC &:) That's for starters.
People who put clothes on their dogs and/or carry them everywhere (they're dogs, not dolls), toilet roll hanging the wrong way round (should be over not under), telesales, badly written books, realising I've run out of teabags/milk/sugar when my daughter is in bed and I can't leave the house!
