Welcome everyone! I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. Our description is really nice and the concept of the book club too. But I think you should learn a little bit about us too. ✧ ೃ༄

My name is Mariana, I'm originally from Portugal and at the moment I'm living in Switzerland. I'm 22 years old and since I was 7 years old I have loved literature. I fell totally in love with it after one of my best friends showed me a book and I read it in 9 hours. After that I couldn't stop going to the library or exchanging books with friends or family.

I love to read, sing, dance. The perfect place to read for me would be sitting on the sand near the ocean, listening to the playlist made for that same book and drinking an Iced Coffee. All of my favourite things together. If you want to know something else, you only need to ask :).

As you have noticed, the group is fairly new and I'm still learning as is Kalgi, the other moderator which will tell you about herself too, I'm sure. In the next few days, I'm gonna plan some themes and books Topics/Discussions and after we have a few more members we will start this journey.

If you have questions, please comment on the other topic. Please do comment about yourself too, we would love to read about our members. I hope you enjoy our book club. As we already do, because we're fully excited ❀

We’re really grateful you joined us and we would try our best to meet your expectations.

So, I’m the other moderator. My name is Kalgi. I live in India. At the moment, I am a final year medical student. I’m 22.

I used to love reading books when I was a child. Firstborn, needed academic validation, nerd kind of girl. Along the way, I lost my connection with books as I became busier with other things.

During the pandemic, I picked up reading books again and it rekindled my love for books. It was nostalgia in the beginning but I’m on my way to passion. At the moment, obsession describes what I have for books. I’ve come a long way and I hope to go further. Books bring me joy and peace.

Apart from books, I am also interested to drawing, content creation, music, cultures. I’m a huge fan of Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Arctic Monkeys, Blackpink, Arijit Singh, Atif Aslam, One Direction.

My name’s Kathi, I’ve been born and raised in Germany and still live there so I’m pretty much a German potato, lol.

I’ve been reading Manga for quite a few years now but I could never really get into full on written books - at least until last September. Since then my collection has grown quite a lot and still is growing (which might not be beneficial for my wallet but oh well🤣). With few exceptions, I read pretty much all of my books in English, because it somehow is way easier for me.

I read quite a big variety of genre and, so far, haven’t encountered one I don’t like. Besides reading I enjoy watching motorsports, movies, series and I love listening to music (if anyone wants to be mutuals, my Spotify’s linked in my profile✨)

I’m excited to meet all of you and make new friends!

Hi i'm Amelia, I'm 15 years old and from England!! Like everybody, I used to read small books when I was younger with mostly more pictures than words until I was about ten when I started reading more grown up (compared to before) but age appropriate books.
At the very end of 2021 is when I fully started to read and buy lots of books and now it's just become a full time hooby.

I love reading and listening to music. I’ve always loved reading since I was a kid. In middle school the only book series that consumed my life then was Vampire Academy. I really enjoy non fiction books but Im trying to read out of my comfort zone and read romance novels, but I can’t lie I’m a sucker for sexy fallen angel books.

I do competitive Gymnastics, Archery, and Indoor Percussion ensemble. I play many instruments, mainly the Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, and Percussion! One of my favorite artists are Ghost and girl in red.

I mean I have both daddy and mommy issues. In fact I have family issues. Because I am in love with Klaus! And the red flags are still there but I’m colourblind. I loved him for years ago when I first saw the vampire diaries and I still love him.

I personally think that who you love should out of your heart and you don’t have to explain it to anyone why you love them. The heart wants what it wants, baby!

I love reading but I'm pretty slow at it so I'll try my best to keep up with any group readings! I'll read pretty much anything but I've read ya, fantasy and adventure books mostly. I hope to read more genres like nonfiction and thriller so I'm open to any recs too! I used to read manga a lot too but fell out of it somehow so I'd appreciate recs for that too!

I’m pretty slow at reading too, you don’t have to apologise for that. Everyone has their own pace. I haven’t read many books but I have a few recommendations. I can message them to you if you want. Or they’re on my bookshelf in my profile. Whichever is comfortable to you.

Hello!!! Literally all in middle school all I would listen to was lorde and Lana del Rey and I found Arctic monkeys while shopping in hot topic lol
I love watching k dramas my sister and I just got done watching Flower of Evil and it was soooo good!
