- I believe this is the best book she has written (so far.) It is a historical fiction about the life of Bontok people in the CORDILLERA region (Philippines) during 1900. It was well researched, immersive, and brought light to a setting nearly absent in literature. Also, it's my favorite book.

Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata was absurdly good. Looking for a great Japanese contemporary fiction that is easy/fast to read? If yes, then this is highly recommended.
