Velamir is definitely a hero of the empire if not THE hero. He was once imperial and probably will be the next Emperor haha.
I cant wait for the second book because we really left off at a crucial moment. I am not sure if Velamir will prove to be a hero or not. He could easily be deluded by others ambitions, in my opinion. I could even go on his own in favor of another agenda that doesn't align with the empire.
I think Velamir is quite the conflicted character, and I think it will only get more difficult for him. As far as overcoming the hardships of dealing with General Winston, if he does, he could definitely be one. I think there are more characters in the running for the hero title that should be included.
Velamir Raga is a conflicted character with an enormous amount of goodness. I think that the end of the first book left him in a very conflicted state that hopefully will be expounded on in the next book. I can see him being a hero and believe him to already be one. I really liked this character because it is something that my boys could enjoy reading about.
Haha, yes, the end of the first book really left Velamir in confusion. But that’s what make Heroes better.
Velamir is the "conflicted" good guy of the series. My take on it is that he is a hero and depending on the rest of the books in the series, there might be other heroes as well (maybe the heroes are boys and/or girls).
I enjoyed reading about Velamir's "coming of age journey" in this book. I really felt for him and thought he was a very believable character, as were the other characters. He is definitely a hero, and I can see him and other characters choosing to fight for a new empire.
What is in store for Velamir? Will he continue to travel on a good path or will he be forced into someone's agenda?
Hi everyone! I loved the beginning to this series. In my opinion, Velamir is a hero in this story. I really enjoyed getting to know him and feeling for his confusion and conflicted state. I actually gave this book to my brother to read because of this character.
