Future Survivors, the Apocalypse Group discussion

Hi folks -

I want to offer one of my short stories for free to FS - it's part of my effort to meet new people and get to know the ones that are, like me, looking for good apocalyptic sci-fi to read.

Here's a brief synopsis:

"5:45am – bombs go off, spreading a disease agent known as ‘Flesh-eater’ [a mutated form of Ebola Reston]

6:00AM – First reports of a ‘biological agent’ in the public water supply.

6:05AM – A cargo trailer filled with gasoline, fertilizer and ammonium nitrate explodes a mile and a half east of downtown Los Angeles.

8:23AM – More reports of contaminated water affecting people in Upland.

8:37AM – Other locations in California [San Jose, Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe] are reporting of similar attacks.

Your worst nightmares are coming true. The entire country is under attack. You didn’t plan for this. You didn’t want this to happen. Now you’re just one person out of millions, escaping a massive terrorist attack. Pray you’re lucky enough to survive The Next Few Hours."
