For our second month of 2023 group reads - February - we have chosen two books each with the theme - Valentine's Day - Romances - therefore members will have four to choose from when you vote in the poll. (Once again, all Aussie authors)

Our choices are:

Dancing with Dandelions (Yass Valley Series #1) by Kelly Cameron Dancing with Dandelions by Kelly Cameron

Sisters, Arabella and Grace Peterson, have been running the family farm in the hills of Yass Valley since their parents died. After an accident on horseback sends her into a coma, she rouses to be faced with a new ordeal. The news of her childhood sweetheart catapults her into a frenzy.

The Rat Catcher A Love Story by Kim Kelly The Rat Catcher: A Love Story by Kim Kelly

In the sweltering summer of 1900, young wharf labourer Patrick O’Reilly is down on his luck in the slums of Sydney and homesick for Tralee. When a deadly outbreak of plague descends on the city, O’Reilly’s daydreaming mind is miles away – in the golden hair and kindly, confident air of a girl called Rosie Hughes.

Outback Roads The Nanny (The Augathella Girls #1) by Annie Seaton Outback Roads: The Nanny by Annie Seaton

Determined never to trust a man again, Callie Young walks out of her job as a presenter on the weather channel, determined to take the first job that will get her out of the city and away from the Tik Tok video, #wrongforecast, that has kept the world amused. Meeting her new employer, the cranky and bossy owner of Kilcoy Station reinforces her belief that no man can be trusted, but to Callie’s dismay that doesn’t stop the growing attraction to this difficult man.

Flight to Coorah Creek (Coorah Creek, #1) by Janet Gover Flight to Coorah Creek by Janet Gover

Pilot Jess Pearson is running away from a broken heart and a terrible burden of guilt. A new job flying an air ambulance in outback Australia is a lifeline, after the headlines claimed she betrayed her lover to escape a prison sentence. That was all lies, and in Coorah Creek she has a chance to start over. She's not hoping for forgiveness or love, just to escape from the past. But no matter how many people she helps save, can she ever atone for a lost life?
