There are so many books that helped me on my writing journey. BIRD BY BIRD by Ann Lamont was instrumental. I have others to share, as well. Let's chat!

Natalia Semko | 1 comments To write, a person must be a reader first. My mother taught me I would never experience boredom if I read books. And right she was. In school, I was a fan of writing, especially long papers, but it never occurred to me I could become a writer. I have dedicated my life to teaching and found joy in teaching my students about the writing process, often modeling different sections of the assigned essays and giving personalised advice about their papers. Anne Lamott’s Bird by Bird was an excellent source for teaching the importance of writing multiple drafts.
Now that I'm retired, I have finished writing my book. That's why I thought about joining this group.
