The Rain Forest is the most notable aspects of the Ecolands. It is vast, dark, and constantly raining. It is the only forest in the Plague Lands that can self sustain. Though, it's a very dangerous place. Not somewhere that one should tred during night fall.

Virus glanced around calmly, holding his umbrella up above his head as he tredded through the thick terrain competently. He hummed a soft tune, that would take a rather jagged turn every few moments. It made him sound a bit deranged. He was wearing an especially fancy outfit, his tail coat seemingly flying behind him.

Ruby wandered through the forest as she hummed one of her favorite songs. She looked about her as she usually did when she wasn't hunting. She had her hood up as she walked through the rain not minding it in the slightest as she sighted some fancy suited guy. "How odd." She tilted her head.

Virus stopped as he heard her speak. His eyes darting her way. He stopped humming suddenly. His hum interrupted by low giggling at her comment.

Ruby blinked and as she was apparently being laughed at. Not that she minded, she liked seeing people happy but their was a bit weird, even to her childish mind. "Why are you wearing a mask?" She questioned, not even putting the laughter into question.

"Why aren't you wearing a mask?" he asked as he glanced over at her with a raised an eyebrow. He smirked, "Better yet, what are you doing in the forest?" he inquired.

"Don't know." She tilted her head. "But I think I like my hood better." She added as she thought about it. She popped out of her thoughts of her running with her hood flowing behind her to answer his next question. "Wandering for my next pay." She said as she rocked on her heels as she smiled at him. "Or dinner, whichever comes first." She peeked about her for small animals as her stomach growled.

He hadn't really been listening, he had been toying with one of his guns boredly. "Oh. You were talking?" he muttered.

Not really bothered by his words seeing as her eyes were trained on the gun. "Beautiful" She giggled and walked a little closer to the guy to see if she could hold it. "But I like mine better." She said as she took out her compacted high caliber Sniper scythe, Crescent Rose, before twirling out to its beautiful scythe shape. She rubbed the blade affectionately.

He glanced at it, "That is a fine weapon. If you were a guy I'd think you were over compensating for something... Anyways, my gun shoots plasma bullets, plasma bullets gets all of the bitches" he replied proudly.

"Built Crescent Rose myself." She grinned and was a bit confused at the over compensating thing was. "Cool!" She smiled as she looked at the gun again. "Can I hold it?" She murmured hopefully. She loved weapons, they were like meeting people but better.

Virus held it out to her, "Break it and I break you" he chimed in an overly zealous and sickly sweet voice.

"I wouldn't dare break something this pretty." She smiled as she took it gently from him. She examined it and pointed it at a random tree. She looked back at him cutely. "Mind if I shoot it?" She wanted to know what exactly did the bullets do to the thing it hits.

Virus smiled wide, his eyebrows furrowing, "Oh no. i don't mind at all" he replied with a rather dark voice.

This was almost like the time when her uncle Qrow let her use his scythe. She merely smiled and shot a tree a little ways away from them, hitting it in the middle of the trunk. She was a sharp shooter thanks to the sniper function of Crescent Rose. The kick was something she could handle as lowered the weapon to watch what happened.

The tree began to vaporize itself becoming ash before their eyes and eventually falling to the side, completely disentagrated.

Ruby's eyes lit up in awe. She looked at the gun before holding it back out to him. "So cool!" She smiled as looked up at him. "Thank you for letting me shot it." She pushed her hood back to shake out her hair, even though it was short to begin with. She spun Crescent Rose back into it's compact form before setting it on it hoster.

He smirked, "Oh no problem" he replied. And now that Ruby had shot his gun, she could never harm him. It was a perk to people stealing his weapons.

She saw from the corner of her eye a rabbit in the distance and got out Crescent Rose. With one simple head shot she had dinner for herself. "yum, rabbit stew." She smiled as she put her weapon back into place before looked at the man. "I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose." she smiled. "I can find another rabbit if you're hungry." she tilted her head.

Virus hummed quietly, watching, "Accuracy. Dayum." he said with a devilish snicker.

"yup." She grinned as she flashed there and back, only a blur of red could be seen for the moment and a slight faze in her appearance. The faze picture of her shifted to the present and revealed the rabbit she shot. "oh, I get ear muffs too." SHe grinned at the very little spatter on the fur.

Virus on the other hand could see her perfectly even as she warped. Given that he was the second half of satan, and he could manage abilities like that. "Oh how splendid" he giggled.

Ruby blushed slightly. Some people were freaked out at her speed. She was even faster than her own whiplash of mayhem that she might have left behind her. "So another rabbit or will this do?" She questioned.

(somehow I see them as brother-sister kind of relationship, ya know if he doesn't decide to kill her ignorant self.)

<< XD Yea, I actually kinda like that. Virus would definitely see potential in her. Given he's the feminine side of the yin and yang of Satan, he would also be a lot more caring sub consciously. >>

Virus gazed down at the rabbit, "Oh. If you wanted another rabbit I could have just conjured one up" he said, a dead rabbit, the same as the one she was holding, flopping to the ground beside her. "Or perhaps like fruit. Apples? Cherries? Mangos? Peaches?" he replied excitedly.

(yeah, um.. could you make a guy for her?)

She peered at the second rabbit in awe. "So cool." She giggled as she jumped slightly. "My sister, Yang(she is awesome, she gets stronger with each punch and if you mess with her hair she goes inferno ^.^), and I like peaches." She smiled as she thought back to her older half sibling. "Wonder how she is doing." She murmured as she pictured her weapon, the golden gauntlet-shotguns.

He held his hand out, a perfectly ripe peach appearing in his gloved fingers, outstretched towards her.

(okay, never mind then. She'll just be in limbo for a relationship for right now. Not that she really knows what it means to be in one, lol >.<)

She took it happily as she smiled widely. "Thank you." She jumped up and hugged him. She let him got to start making dinner. Using a bit of her speed, she unpacked her cooking gear. She smiled as she finished putting up a cover if it started to rain. She started a fire before she skinned the rabbits expertly.

He blinked, growling faintly at the hug and shivering before letting out a sigh.

Ruby smiled as she tied the hides of the rabbits up to dry. She cut up the meat and put it in the boiling water in the pot. she fumbled in her bag for herds she had to season the stew. She ate the peach as she watched the stew cook. "Should be done in a half hour." She looked back at him.

He glanced down at the meal. I knew that. he thought before rolling his shoulders boredly.

she finished the peach and put the peach pit in her bag. She got up and got out crescent rose for practice. After swinging it into its scythe form, she practiced her moves, the ones her uncle qrow taught her. he kept tabs on the boiling meal.

"No no no no" he shook his head, grabbing her hand, "Let me show you something, he took the scythe, not really caring if she protested. His hand vibrated as the end of the scythe grew an exact replica of the head on it. He swung it up in the air, watching it spin like helicopter blades before jumping up and directing it to the tree next to them, watching as it cut straight through and fell to the ground next to it, the tree falling to its side.

Ruby jumped as a hand grabbed her wrist. Her head turned to look at the man in the mask. "Crescent Rose." She gasped as her precious weapon was morphed in front of her eyes. "Put it back the way it was, it took me over a year to make it just right for me." She puffed. She loved her weapon and a blade on both ends just bothered her to no end.

He snickered, holding his hand out, the weapon appearing in his hand, "Calm your underdeveloped tits." he replied, forcing it back to its original form.

She puffed as she took the weapon back from him. She folded it to it's compact form and sighed softly. She set Crescent Rose back on it's holster before walking to the stew. "It's done." She said as she sampled the stew.

(I got a question, how old can I make a vampire? The one I have in mind, in the respective anime, he is over 800 years old.)
