I fell behind last week, so tried to catch up today and accidentally finished the whole book (ooops!!), once poor Brett got his eyes staked I knew there was no going back. So brilliantly gory. I adore Cameron's character progression in this section - and Piper creepy AF. I know the tinyness of the dolls could seem a little comical but I think that's what makes them brilliant. A teensy army of creepy little psycho dolls!
I loved finding out the history of the school in this section. the part with the dolls and Rebecca playing the piano on the stage was really cool too. as was mentioned before, it's a very cinematic style. Piper is gowing ever more sinister, and I hated the bit on the beach where she started getting really mean with Sophie, as someone who experienced plenty of bullying in school, scenes like that always make me uncomfortable. the needles through the eyes of Brett was some welcome gore, and I'm guessing that it's going to get ramped up to eleven for the final part of the book.

This topic can include spoilers up to the end of chapter 16, so only continue reading this post if you have read up to this point.
The tension is really ramping up now! I didn't want to stop reading at the end of the chapter. I can't remember how the book ends, and I'm loving how Alex Bell is layering the reveals and starting to tell us who we can trust.
- Do you have any theories?
- Are there any characters you really like or loathe?
- Were there any really scary moments in this section?
Feel free to now finish the book (if you've not done so already) and we will be chatting about it on the live show on the 4th of February here:

After the live show on the 4th February, I will open up week 4's spoiler discussion chat covering the end of the book, for anyone that missed the live or that wishes to discuss the book further.
Thank you so much for reading!
