Ok, so I was reading a Margaret Atwood book that was an extremely rare dnf for me. Got to 40% and just couldn’t keep going. So I needed something that I knew would be good and I started this. Almost 1/2 way and it’s really fun!

I’m at about 80% and it’s really fast paced and funny. I have no idea how it will end and I’m pretty close.

You are welcome Terry! :) Yep those vibes are resonating throughout this week as I just finished another book that had demonic themes pulsing through it. :)

I did finish it last night. It really was an easy read with constant action and humor. I was a bit worried that the ending would be a too-quick wrap up but it wasn’t. Crazy and unexpected, yes! Overall I really enjoyed the read and I hope you all do too.

11% in and really enjoying it, I read a variety of books but it's nice to read something that moves really fast, it's fun.

My goodness! I started this book a couple of hours ago and wow! I can hardly put it down! This is so good!

Well, here I go! Starting Demonic today! Hope you are all enjoying it so far. I had to finish Snow Shark by Brian Berry first. Fun and very gruesome book!

I am loving this book! It reads super fast so once you start it is hard to put down.

I am up to 32% and my goodness I am flipping kindle pages so fast my fingers are numb! LOL

I’m about half way through this and having a hell of a lot of fun, lol. If it weren’t for the fact I need to go to bed right now I’d keep reading through!

It was a really fun read and I can’t wait to hear what you all thought of the ending.

43% into Demonic and really enjoying it! I keep seeing Vincent D'Onofrio as Vic or even Michael Chiklis. Either way, Jeff Strand's books need to be made into films at some point.

I finished it late last night - 4 stars from me. It was a fast and furious read! lol :)

I just finished this book and loved it! What a crazy, unpredictable ending! Strand has such a unique sense of humor that he injects into his books, along with the action, violence, and gore, that make it so entertaining.

(view spoiler)[ I think the beginning started off great but half way through it started to get lose my interest when more characters were introduced and it was just a slaughter fest that made my eyes glaze over. To me the best parts were where it was just the three main characters. Also there was just too much dialogue for me that tried to be funny non stop, Strand did this with his Wolf Hunt which actually worked brilliantly in that book, that was easy 5 stars for me, the humor was sprinkled in and the main bad guy was truly scary, I think he was trying to reproduce some of that in this book. We did. I agree with everything you said there and felt that too. (view spoiler)[ For me also, It felt a little too much like violence without consequence, and that’s just not my favorite. I also couldn’t suspend my disbelief enough to buy into the story very well. Just didn’t believe that Quinn and Corey (a couple of accountants) would be able to fight off this many supernatural killers. But, it wasn’t so bad I wanted to quit, just wasn’t the best for me. I’m glad you said that about Wolf Hunt as I’ve considered picking it up several times but haven’t yet. I like the idea that it would be better than this one. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished! Overall, I really enjoyed it! Looking forward to trying out other Strand novels.

We read one in here last year as a buddy read that was really good and you might like it. Try this one out: The Odds and then my first introduction to Strand was this book that I read back in 2019: Sick House.
