Any other topics you’d like to discuss? Your overall opinion of the story?

I think I started this book several months ago and gave up on it very quickly. Since the group was reading it, I tried again and it was a much better read than I expected it to be. Could be timing?

I had a similar experience, Charlene. I bought this book a few years ago when it was release. The hype was tremendous. I don't know what was going on at the time, but I couldn't get past the second chapter. This time around I flew through the story, and loved it.

The first time I read this, I came away with a terrible opinion of Thea, really not liking her. I skimmed it this time for the discussion and was able to see her differently, understanding Liv’s influence and why.

I’d thought it was going to be funny but the heart of this story isn’t about the humor. It was a meatier one this time around.

FYI, the first two chapters were annoying.
