Reading Under the Lilacs discussion

I heard abt the book, ppl described it as soft/fluffy romance, which is pretty adorable :D but is there anything i should know abt it b4 i get it?

I have the book and I've already it and I absolutely recommended it. It's a ya romance and very cute. It's a fake dating and (soft) enemies to lovers. They don't really hate each other, it's more of an annoyance. They also mention a lot of romance movies and the fmc and the mmc like Taylor swift (i feel like this is needed to know haha). Once again, i def recommend it.

I've read it and I do recommend it! It's really sweet and cozy and isn't too long. uhm there's one sensitive topic the fmc's mom's death. It's mentioned quite a few times. It's handled in a good way though. no worries! I pretty basic high school fake dating trope but there are small little things that make it amazingg <33

"better than the movies" is such a great book, especially if you're a swiftie at heart. definitely recommend reading paper rings with reading the book. it's perfection
