2017 Reading Challenge discussion

This book hooked me in right from the first paragraph. It alternates between Paris 1942 to 60 years later. A real page turner but such a very sad and tragic story.

Grabs you and does not let you go! And, I seriously sobbed through parts of it.

I forgot that I had read this book until I saw it on the discussion boards. It is a very good story, but sad that what happens in the past resonates for so long and affects so much in the future. A good, but not light-hearted read.
