- I loved this story, and I can't wait to read more about what Georgia and Blackford get up to.The research into Victorian London was good and I thought the language rang true to the period.
- M.G. Leonard & Sam Sedgman - 23.1.23 - 5 stars. I love this series of adventures on trains. Hal uses his drawing skills like a camera - different and fun.
What I like about this thread is that all the books you have read you have given 4 or 5 stars. It shows you've chosen well and that you're a generous giver of stars!
- Sophie Kinsella - 2.3.23 - 4 stars. Kinsella is one of my favourite authors, and usually I like her heroines from the get-go, but it took me awhile to like Ava - hence only four stars. However, by the end, I did enjoy the story.
- Kate Parker - 14.4.23 - 5 stars. Middle class Georgia loves a duke, and, methinks, the duke loves her ;)
- 16.5.23 - 5 stars. Like all the Bridgerton books, this is an excellent , fun read with a bright, sparky heroine.
R.L. Ullman - 31.7.23 - 5 stars. Elliott is such a great character, and the illustrations are ace. Reccommend.
- R.L. Ullman - 4.8.23 - 5 stars. Never mind 'Epic Zero', this series is epic. For me, it is as good as Harry Potter. High time it was adapted for the screen. Recommend.
- R.L. Ullman -10.8.23 - 5 stars. These stories are so clever, so intricate, and so much fun. Recommend.
- Julia Quinn - 2.1.24 (although I only registered it as being ''read'' today, I actually finished it on 31.12.23) - 5 stars. Recommend.
