I know this movie has been out for a while, but I have not yet seen it. However, I'm about three-fourths of the way through the book and am absolutely intrigued.

Has anyone else read the book and/or seen the movie? What did you think?

I've seen the movie but haven't read the book. I should definitely put the book on my list. The movie was very well done in every respect but the content of course is brutal and very heart breaking. The story was captivating though and ultimately redemptive.

Does the book read like an autobiography?
