2015 Hub Reading Challenge discussion

I am not a huge fan of graphic novels. I found this one hard to get through and I know it won both a Printz and a Caldecott... What did you think?

I liked it, but didn't love it. the art is beautiful.... but I am still not sure I get why it won the awards.
