Well! I've certainly been MIA. I have been reading, though. Since I last reported, I have accepted a challenge to read all of the Time Magazine 100 Best Children's books (even those I've read before, so I've read:
Where the Wild Things Are
The Snowy Day
Goodnight Moon
Blueberries for Sal
Little Bear
Owl Moon
The Giving TreeThe True Story of the 3 Little Pigs (one of my all time favorites)
and because of some other challenges, I also read:
Firebird
Hair Love
Imani's Moon
P is for Pterodactyl: The Worst Alphabet Book Ever.
Other than children's books, I've read
In the Mouth of the Wolf: A Murder, a Cover-Up, and the True Cost of Silencing the Press,
Three Girls from Bronzeville
The Widows, and
Unlikely Animals.
I've listened to
Chorus of Mushrooms and
We Should Not Be Friends: The Story of a Friendship.
Presently, I'm reading
The Love Scribe and listening to
Murder Your Employer.
Lastly, I've been reading a chapter a day of
Don Quixote since the start of the year and have only about 200 pages to go.
