Murder of Crows discussion

This is less of a splatterpunk book and more so a collection of folk tales. It wasn’t really exciting for me. Half the stories felt like I was listening to my cryptids podcast and the other half of them felt like they were trying to make me squirm in my chair, but were unsuccessful. When I think of splatterpunk, I think of gore, horror, and violence all to the extreme and this book wasn’t there for me. They aren't bad stories, they just aren't the splatterpunk stories I was looking for.
