Let me know your opinions on the Shadow Manos and their abilities. Do you believe them to be truly magical?

Adam Lancaster | 16 comments I can see the shadows to be a curse of sorts as they ultimately end up killing their host. But if controlled, they could be of some value. Kind of unpredictable as well, since it seems they pick their hosts. So, I guess it all depends on if the host is an ally, cause if they only care about themselves, it will probably cause world domination aspirations.

Stacy | 12 comments I loved the Shadow Manos and the magic behind all of it. It was a different take on a "possessed" person and how it affected the person and the people around. Loved that they were marked and loved the different types. Super cool.

Crystal Larmanov | 15 comments What an awesome detail to this amazing story. Shadow Manos's are a great element. Doers, Seers, and Lures. I would like to see more of this in the next books. Jax has got to be the most dynamic of the Shadow Manos even though he has the basic or common shadow. I could definitely eat up more chapters about these guys and their abilities.

Tom Silverstien | 10 comments I could read a stand alone about the Shadow Manos. A backstory even, on their origins or the time they were ruling the Empire (Malus's ancestor). I wouldn't be surprised if more pop out of the woodwork in the next few books in the series.

Yes! I would love a book focused on the Shadow Manos as well.

Stacy | 12 comments A great topic in the proposed book would be centered around some sort of academy, maybe that's cliche, but I would love it!

Phillipa | 11 comments I think that the Shadow Manos would always be a threat to anywhere. They seem to have a short window in their life with the shadow which is controllable. Ultimately, they would probably go crazy, become evil or dead, so I don't know how they would really benefit anything or anyone in the long run.

Naomi | 12 comments The Shadow Manos will definitely be an asset as long as they are loyal to leader. On the other hand they could be influenced by their shadow... so, wow! this is a good question that definitely needs to be answered with another book haha.

Loretta | 11 comments I agree with most here that there could be a book written on the Shadow Manos. They are really interesting and unique. I think their usefulness depends on who is leading and how strong the person who carries them is and possible their mindset.

BookLoverSuze | 13 comments I like how everything is so well tied together. The empire needs the shadow manos and the shadows need a person. I think the shadows are some sort of creature that possess someone. I think these shadows are a necessary evil in the world. Hope to find out more about them.

Pachakhan | 9 comments Shadow Manos are a curse on the next level. If I had a shadow, I would be trying to remove it from my body if possible lol. But, they are an awesome element to this story. Loved the details and backstories involving them. Probably not the best thing to have around unchecked. They don't seem to be very controlable.

Syd | 10 comments Jax was super cool with his gadgets and ideas. He made me laugh a few times. Wanted more of course...waiting patiently for book 2.

R.A.Muhammad | 10 comments The Empire should be very worried about the Shadow Manos because of their cruelty towards them. Since it seems the shadow manos will never go away and are favored in other regions, they could be a big threat. Unless the one wielding the power can control it and attains a high position in the Empire :)
