Andy | 2 comments Hey friends, I'm exploring how to help people read more and seeking to understand what challenges are experienced.

Examples are not having enough time in the day, can't find the motivation to read as much as you might want to and so on!

I'd love to hear any thoughts and if interested chat with you if you're struggling to build your reading habit :)

˗ˏˋ charley ˎˊ˗ (realcharley) no motivation/reading slump, social media (mostly twitter, but this can in turn also motivate me lol), or just life in general (uni, work, etc.).

message 15: by Andy (new)

Andy | 2 comments Thanks all for the comments, I appreciate it a lot and feel ya - it can be hard to keep the desired habit and also too easy to make it stressful feeling like we should have this ideal habit!

As a thanks, based on the comments, I thought I'd put a quick doc together outlining some potential solutions based on the behavioural science and general logical approaches for different challenges mentioned.

I hope it is helpful :) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ipGp...

message 49: by blossom ★ (new)

blossom ★ I love books and reading in general but at times I get caught up in watching book based videos or TikTok’s and never actually read books 😐 I’m currently working on getting myself back to reading atleast 50 pages of a book a day but it is challenging at times for me. I also don’t get motivated to read when the book has a slow beginning and doesn’t hook me in the first quarter of the book and it ends up sitting on my desk for week or possibly months before I pick it up and read it. I usually get hooked into the book eventually but it’s hard for me to get started into a book.
