On the Book discussion

I'll go first: still reading The Ministry for the Future - has anyone read it? I was really digging it at first (although it's terrifyingly relevant) but it's very dense and the style sort of keeps you at arm's length. I have to return it to the library today - will I pick it up again, or will it end up on the Abandoned shelf? Time will tell

I’m slowly trudging through book 11 of Wheel of Time. I figure I’m this far, I might as well finish the series, but I have not been much of a fan. I read a different author in between each book, so I’m looking forward to that!

I’ve just started on Exciting Times by Naoise Dolan. Not a lot going on plot-wise so far, but some funny kind of dry humour moments!

Did you watch the TV show? We quite liked it, although some of the special effects were a little janky, from memory

I watched a couple of episodes, but the changes were too distracting for me haha

I’m reading The Satanic Verses by Salam Rushdie. Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It’s quite good.
