Around the World in 80 Books discussion

I would like to suggest this book which was read in our book club by a Russian person.

Go back to when the Berlin Wall had recently fallen and the USSR collapsed. There was a brief moment of hope. The Scorpions song “Wind of Change” was a top hit and this author was in Russia, trying to be a part of that change. A true and hilarious story, and 4.7 stars on Amazon. Give “Wind of Change: an American Journey in Post Soviet Russia” a read.

Around the World in 80 Trains by Monisha Rajesh and The Eastern Bazaar by Paul Theroux describe travelling across Russia on the Trans Siberia Railway
